For 35 years, Automobiles Gillet has captured the imagination of those who love exceptional cars. Singular, uncompromisingly sporting machines with a strong character, designed and assembled by hand in our workshop in Gembloux.
The Vertigo, flagship of Belgian motoring
Among them, one car defined its era: the Gillet Vertigo. World acceleration record for a production car as early as 1994, with 0 to 100 km/h in 3.266 seconds. Three FIA GT world championship titles in the G2 class. Chosen by figures such as Johnny Hallyday and Prince Albert II of Monaco, and turned into a cult object for a whole generation of enthusiasts through Gran Turismo.
The Vertigo established itself as the flagship of Belgian motoring, recognised far beyond our borders.
Alongside the greatest names
But Gillet has never rested on its laurels. Over the years, the marque has placed its expertise at the service of the greatest names in automotive design, notably alongside the Italian coachbuilder Zagato: the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa, then the Maserati Mostro Zagato, whose chassis Gillet designed and built. And many other projects, always to the same standard.
Passion never stops
For cars. For the exceptional. For a house that has always preferred to invent rather than follow — and which, with the Vertigo, had already signed the first Belgian car with a carbon-fibre chassis.
At the end of 2026, Gillet will unveil its new supercar: the Bella Riva.
As the teaser suggests, the world of boats has left its mark on this new model. A car at the very top of the range, conceived as a one-off, where Belgian craftsmanship meets innovative materials and cutting-edge technology. An exceptional dream, shaped by hand.
In the coming weeks, we will lift the veil piece by piece: the origins of the project, the first sketches, the innovations that make it unique, the hands and the partners bringing it to life. Fragments of a story that will only be told in full in November 2026, at its official presentation.
